We thank Woodstock Chamber Choir for offering our first celebration event since COVID-19 arrived in early 2020.

For over 800 years there has been a church in Kidlington – St Mary’s Church. We celebrate those years with a selection of choral and organ music spanning eight centuries. Machaut, Gabrieli, Purcell, Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Stanford, Fauré and many others are represented in this miscellany, culminating in the 21st century with Jonathan Dove’s Bless the Lord, O my soul.
This concert is part of fund raising events to make the two St Mary’s churches (Kidlington and Hampton Poyle) more able to serve the community now and in the future.
There is no admission charge but donations are appreciated.
