Parentlinks – Parent Support Groups

Are you a parent or carer of a child who struggles with mental health issues and/or is neuro-diverse?

If so, you might be interested in joining one of our peer support groups or attending an open-access workshop on a topic of interest to you.

Regular Support Groups for parents of children with SEND or mental health challenges

  • Mondays – 6.30pm to 8pm – for parents or carers of dependent adults (18+)
  • Tuesdays – 6pm to 7.30pm – for parents of secondary school age children
  • Thursdays – 9.15am to 10.45 am – for parents of primary school age children.

These are parent-focussed groups, facilitated by a professionally accredited therapist, providing a safe and supportive space to share and talk through challenges. The first two groups meet in St Mary’s Church Hall, Church Street, Kidlington, OX5 2AZ and the third in St John’s Church, Broadway, Kidlington, OX5 1DD. They are free of charge. You can find out more at our Facebook page

If you think this might be something of interest to you please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and have a chat. We’d love to hear from you.

Workshops

Additionally we have started a series of open access workshops on themes of general interest – these do not involve any commitment to joining an ongoing group. Details of these will be added as available.

Please do pass on this information to anyone you know who would be interested in attending a workshop or joining one of the groups.
