Getting closer and closer …..

Donations
Can now be left in the North Transept (Flower room) at St Mary’s. We need the usual Bric a Brac, Toys, Raffle and Tombola prizes (big and small), Retro etc. Please bring plants, cakes and produce to St Mary’s on Friday 4th or the morning of Saturday 5th.
Sign up, Sign up!
We need volunteers before during and after. Thanks if you’ve volunteered already, we need many, many more!
Please see the sign up sheets and consider
Please see the sign up sheets and consider helping.
There are stall sign up sheets (see separate list for Human Fruit Machine and Teas) but also consider helping on Thursday setting up the church or collecting tables, or on the Friday laying out stalls and sorting donations. On the Saturday morning we need people to put up gazebos and the outside tables and decorate them, before the stalls can be set up.
So please sign up wherever you can or contact Tilly Evershed directly at tilly@kidhp.org.uk
In addition (or alternatively) …
Can you bake, or make preserves?
As usual we will be serving refreshments and having the immensely popular cake and produce stall. So, we need lots of cakes, scones, biscuits and jams and chutneys. If you have space, why not pop 1 or 2 cakes in the freezer now.
Are you able to propagate some plants?
Can you split or take cuttings from your garden or house plants, nurture them now and bring them along on Friday 4th July before 3pm or early on Saturday 5th July, ready for the popular plant stall.
Raffle Tickets
Our Raffle tickets are a great way of ensuring a basic income for the Fete, whatever the weather. If you possibly can, please take a number of books (on trust), sell them to your Friends, neighbours, work colleagues anyone you can persuade to take a few! Then bring back the stubs (with names and phone number of purchaser!) together with the relevant money to the Raffle ticket teams at each church. You can, of course, buy tickets directly from the teams and on the day, the more we sell early and the wider we can sell them the better!
Thank you; without you the fete is nothing
