Worship in the community

In addition to regular worship in our three churches, the ministry team also offers opportunities for worship in the wider Kidlington community, aiming to reach out to those who may not be able to take part in church services.

Visits and home Communion are available to those who are unwell or unable to get to services, and also to those in our local care homes.  A small clergy-led team leads ‘Songs of Praise’ and Communion services each month in a couple of our local care homes and enjoys the opportunity to stay and talk with residents and staff, building much-valued personal relationships with them.  Members of our clergy can, and do, offer a chaplaincy ministry of listening, praying, end of life care and much more, to both residents, their families, and care home staff.
