It looks back over the history of our villages and offers a wide-ranging view of life here today. The booklet is now available and can be purchased from local outlets or by ordering online.

Following the very successful Live Nativity event in 2018, we will be holding another when we can. As before, this will be organised by the Parish of Kidlington with Hampton Poyle but will be even bigger and better than that in 2018 (and hopefully less rainy). For a start, we will have THREE camels in the procession, not just one. One of these already has a rider assigned but we will be holding a raffle to select two people to be the other riders. This is for adults only, weighing under 14st and fit enough to mount/dismount a camel. Tickets, £1 each, will be on sale when we know more.
This Bordeaux Superieur Vintage 2015 has been carefully selected for celebrating our octocentenary by our local micro-bar and comes with its own specially designed label. The wine is Chateau de Courtebotte, a family estate from the Entre-deux Mers, whose vineyards are located on an excellent terroir which produces fine, elegant wines with great aromatic complexity. A classic blend of Merlot 60% and Cabernet Sauvignon 40%.
This wine is available from Kidlington’s micro-bar, DrunkDry at £20.20 per bottle.
