Thanks to David, Naomi and all the team for our Monty Mouse video, which is now being viewed in local schools and residential homes. And you can see it here.

Also many thanks to the many people who have been so creative with their mouse-making so St Mary’s is now well populated with delightful little creatures. But don’t feel it’s too late to add your mouse – more are always welcome. All you need to do is take it in to St Mary’s and leave it somewhere in the nave where people can hunt for all of them. They do not have to be grey – flowery, woolly, orange, sleek, huge or tiny…… are all welcome.  For more ideas on how to make a mouse just click here.

Comfort & Joy

Nativity Walk 2020 from Thursday December 3rd

Welcome to this Nativity Walk which has been put together by the different churches in Kidlington with local businesses. We cannot gather in our usual ways to celebrate, so we have put together something which we hope you all can enjoy safely. You can walk the route all in one go, or break it up and do different parts on different days.

All the information about the walk is included in a leaflet which you can download here.

The leaflet includes a map of the eleven diferent stops. At each stop you will find a figure (such as Mary, a star, an angel) from the Nativity scene and they will have a poster with a letter on them. Simply write down the letter and spell three words. Once you have these words, you are welcome to go to Box of Delights and claim a small prize.

Happy searching and Happy Christmas

A big thank you to: The Box of Delights, The Six Bells Pub, Exeter Hall, White Bridge Dental Clinic, Kidlington Library and C.S.Boswell Independent Funeral Services (and to Scott Cheeseman for all his work organising this).

The choir and choristers in St Mary’s have worked really hard to bring music to our Advent and Christmas services. They have now created a playlist of the 15 festive recordings that they have made over the last month. Some items were recorded during choir/chorister rehearsals, and others “live” during the in-person carol services. With limited rehearsal time and no opportunities for “second takes”, the results are superb, and you can hear them all on YouTube here.
